Ames High School counts one credit per semester, while many homeschoolers count one credit per year, typically requiring 150 hours of work for one credit.

By organizing a transcript by subject instead of by year, it becomes easier to determine where to place high school-level work completed in 7th or 8th grade and where to include multi-year elective options.

The date of graduation should be included at the bottom of the transcript. Additionally, AHS and DMACC credits should be listed on the high school transcript, along with a column indicating where each class was taken.
